Register

The referral to RealHealth goes through the orthopedics department (spine surgery) of the Sint Maartenskliniek. The orthopedists first assess whether medical treatment is useful. If this is not possible AND your spine can handle gradual building up, you can be referred to RealHealth.

The referral to the orthopedist of the Sint Maartenskliniek goes through your general practitioner, company doctor, or medical specialist. We also work with a number of orthopedists from other hospitals, who can also refer.

De wachttijd voor een intakegesprek bij RealHealth is ongeveer 2-4 weken.

De startdatum van de behandeling zal altijd in overleg met u bepaald worden. De wachttijd voor de start kan hierdoor variëren.

Reimbursement & costs

Insurance reimbursement
The RealHealth program falls within the basic insurance and is reimbursed by all Dutch health insurers. Please keep in mind your mandatory deductible. The Sint Maartenskliniek takes care of processing the declaration to the health insurer. You do not need to take any action yourself in this regard.

Costs for your own account
The costs for the stay in the hotel during the treatment (overnight stays, breakfast, lunch, and dinner) are reimbursed by your health insurer in the basic package. In addition to the mandatory deductible, other costs such as drinks ordered by you, telephoning from the hotel room, etc. are for your own account.
